Our Story
Backstory
As most everyone says, nothing worth having comes easy. I didn't know how true this statement was until I went with my dad down to Louisiana to pick up our little Sugar. At the time, I was just a 13-year-old girl who was excited about starting a business and getting a dog. But over the next few months I went through lots of training, cleaning, and dealt with a lot more responsibility than I ever had. Getting Sugar was the best thing that ever happened to me and I hope that her puppies do the the same for you.
About the Breed
Golden Retrievers are the perfect family dog due to their compassion, calm aptitude, and family-friendly play style. They love their owners and are extremely smart. If trained correctly, they can turn into not only your best friend, but a loyal companion. I strongly recommend doing research on these dogs before making a decision. We suggest daily training so that you can build a strong relationship with your puppy. The book Family Dog by Richard A. Wolters is great for all breeds but worked amazingly well with Sugar.
